Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Koro Films collects through korofilms.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

Koro Films is the wedding photography and videography brand of Media Pro Plus Co., Ltd., based in Bangkok, Thailand. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect, and why

When you enquire or book

Our contact form asks for your name, email address and message. If you go on to book us, we will also hold the details we need to photograph your wedding — your wedding date, venue and schedule, the names of people we should photograph, your phone number, and billing details for invoicing. We use this only to answer you, quote you, plan the shoot and issue invoices.

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects device and usage signals and is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

When you browse the site

  • Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) tells us which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. We use it to decide what to put on the site.
  • Google AdSense serves advertising on some pages. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can turn personalised advertising off at adssettings.google.com, and review Google’s partner practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Server logs record IP address, browser and requested page for security and troubleshooting.

When you message us from the site

The chat button opens a conversation on WhatsApp, LINE, email or phone. Those conversations take place on those platforms and are covered by their own privacy policies as well as this one. We keep the message history so we can pick up where we left off.

Photographs and films of you

This is the part that matters most for a wedding studio, so we want to be plain about it.

  • We photograph and film your wedding to deliver it to you. That is the primary purpose and it always comes first.
  • Where your agreement with us allows, we may also publish selected images and films on this website, on our social media channels, and in submissions to wedding blogs and publications.
  • You can tell us not to. Before or after the wedding, tell us in writing and we will keep your gallery private, and remove anything already published from anywhere we control. Material already re-shared by third parties may take longer to come down, and we will help you chase it.
  • We do not sell your images, and we do not license them to stock libraries.

Any request about your photographs — keep private, take down, delete — goes to [email protected]. We will confirm in writing what we have done.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for three things: keeping the site working and fast, measuring traffic through Google Analytics, and serving advertising through Google AdSense.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not stop you using the site or contacting us.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services we need to run the business:

  • Google — analytics, tag management, advertising and reCAPTCHA
  • Our web host and email provider, to run the site and receive your messages
  • WhatsApp and LINE, if you choose to message us there
  • Payment processors such as PayPal and Stripe, when you pay by card or online — they handle the card details, not us
  • Second shooters, video operators and editors working on your wedding, who see only what they need to do the job
  • Authorities, where the law requires it

Some of these providers process data outside Thailand.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and form submissions are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Booking records and invoices are kept for as long as Thai tax and accounting rules require. Delivered galleries and film masters are archived for a limited period after delivery so we can re-issue them if you lose your copy — ask us and we will tell you the current period for your booking.

Your rights

Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act, and under the GDPR for visitors and clients in the European Union and the UK, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete it, where we are not required to keep it
  • stop using it for marketing or publication
  • restrict or object to how we use it

Email [email protected] and we will respond as quickly as we can. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand, or to your local data protection authority.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Your files are stored on access-controlled accounts, and only the people working on your wedding can reach them. No system is perfect, but we treat client galleries as private by default.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Children who appear in wedding photographs are covered by the section on photographs above, and by the consent of their parents or guardians.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes affecting current clients will be sent by email.
