Mehndi, Haldi, Sangeet, the Baraat, the Pheras around the sacred fire and the Vidaai — we photograph and film every function of your Hindu wedding with one team. Based in Bangkok, we cover Indian destination weddings across Thailand and abroad.

Hindu wedding photography & film
A Hindu wedding in Thailand usually runs over two or three days, with a different function each morning and evening. Koro Films photographs and films all of them — from the Ganesh puja and Mehndi to the Pheras, Vidaai and reception — with photographers and videographers working as one team, so your photos and your films tell the same story.
Before the wedding we plan with you, your planner and your pandit: the muhurat, the order of rituals, family customs and the people who matter most. On the day we stay calm, respectful and close to the moments you will want to remember.

The stories we tell
A selection of the Indian Hindu weddings we have photographed and filmed — beach mandaps in Hua Hin and Khao Lak, city celebrations in Bangkok and resort weddings from Krabi to Chiang Rai. Each story shows the full gallery and the venue.
From Mehndi to Vidaai
Every family does it a little differently, but most Hindu destination weddings in Thailand follow this order over two or three days. Here is what happens at each function — and what we make sure to capture.
Optional · before the wedding week
Many couples add a pre-wedding session before the functions begin — on a long-tail boat, among limestone islands, on a rooftop above Bangkok or in a city that means something to them. It is relaxed time together, and the photos are ready for your save-the-date or a slideshow at the Sangeet.
What we capture: Natural portraits, outfit changes, drone views and short film clips.

Day one · evening
The first evening brings both families and their friends together — a cocktail night, a beach dinner or a party on a boat. Guests often fly in from around the world, and for many it is the first time the two families meet.
What we capture: Arrivals, toasts, the dance floor and candid moments between people who have not seen each other in years.

Blessings · often the first ritual
Many Hindu weddings begin with a puja to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, so that the celebrations ahead go smoothly. The pandit leads the prayers with close family; it is often quiet, early and very personal.
What we capture: We keep a respectful distance, work with natural light and follow the pandit on where we can stand.

Henna ceremony · 1–2 days before
Henna artists draw intricate designs on the bride’s hands and feet while family and friends sing, dance and have their own mehndi done. Many brides hide the groom’s initials in the pattern — and tradition says the darker the colour, the deeper the love.
What we capture: Close-ups of the designs, the bride’s reactions and the music and colour around her.

Turmeric ceremony · morning
Family members apply a paste of turmeric (haldi), often mixed with sandalwood and rose water, to the bride and groom. It is a blessing before the wedding — and it soon becomes a happy, very yellow mess.
What we capture: Fast, close coverage in the middle of the fun. We protect our cameras and plan on yellow everywhere.

Music & dance night
An evening of music and dance where each side of the family performs — choreographed numbers, surprise acts and the couple’s own dance. At destination weddings in Thailand it is often the biggest party of the week.
What we capture: Performances on stage, reactions in the crowd and the dance floor once it opens. We talk to your DJ and lighting team before the show.

Daytime · destination weddings
Between functions, many couples plan a pool or beach party — a chance for everyone to relax in the sun before the big day.
What we capture: Bright, fun coverage, including waterproof cameras for shots from inside the pool.

Wedding morning
On the wedding morning the bride’s lehenga, jewellery and makeup come together, while the groom puts on his sherwani and has his safa (turban) tied by family.
What we capture: Details, family helping each other get ready and the first full look before the Baraat.

The groom’s procession
The groom arrives in style — on a horse, an elephant, in a vintage car or even by boat — while his family and friends dance to the dhol all the way to the venue. The bride’s family welcomes them at the entrance.
What we capture: We move with the procession, stay ahead of the groom and catch the welcome at the gate.

Jaimala · exchange of garlands
The bride makes her entrance — under a floral canopy, with her brothers, or across the water by boat — and the couple exchange flower garlands. Friends love to lift the groom out of reach, so the Varmala is often full of laughter.
What we capture: Both families’ reactions and the garland moment itself, covered from two angles in photo and film.

The main ceremony
Under the mandap, the pandit leads the heart of a Hindu wedding: the Kanyadaan, when the bride’s parents give her hand; the Pheras, the rounds around the sacred fire (four or seven, depending on family tradition) with the Saptapadi vows; then the sindoor and mangalsutra that mark the couple as married.
What we capture: We agree positions around the mandap in advance, so we never block the pandit or your family’s view.

The bride’s farewell
The emotional farewell to the bride’s family. She throws rice back over her shoulder as thanks to her parents’ home, then leaves with the groom — often in a decorated car.
What we capture: Quiet, honest moments between parents and daughter — some of the most treasured photos of the whole wedding.

The final celebration
The evening party with the couple’s grand entrance, speeches, first dance, cake and often fireworks — usually with a change of outfits and every guest in one place.
What we capture: Entrances, speeches, the dance floor and the last moments of the night. With a same-day edit, your film premieres on screen here.

Your day, thoughtfully captured
Indian weddings are big, fast and full of family. A calm plan is what lets us be in the right place for every ritual without getting in anyone’s way.
We go through your schedule, the muhurat, family customs and must-have photos with you and your planner, and agree how we work with the pandit at the mandap.
Photographers and videographers work side by side, so your photos and films match in style and no moment is missed or covered twice.
A highlight film, full films of each function and an online photo gallery with AI face search, so relatives can find their own photos.
“Over a 3 day period we went through extreme heat to extreme rain and they never once complained. Their professionalism and skill took our wedding week to another level.”
“…they far exceeded our expectations. Their team was friendly, kind and always smiling.”
“Thank you again for the wonderful experience we had with you as our photographers during our wedding in Khao Lak!”
