Having photographed and filmed more than 10 Indian weddings at Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, we know exactly where the light falls at every hour of the day — and which corner of the resort makes each ceremony shine.
A true beachfront. The oceanfront lawn opens directly onto the sand — perfect for a morning Mandap ceremony or a sunset varmala exchange with the Gulf of Thailand behind you.
One of the coast’s largest lagoon pools. The resort’s signature lagoon-style pool winds through tropical gardens across the property. We’ve shot Haldi mornings and couple portraits along this pool — the golden-hour reflections are unlike any other venue in Hua Hin.
Event lawns and gardens for every function. With over 4,800 square metres of indoor and outdoor event space, the resort can host your Mehndi, Sangeet, Baraat, ceremony and reception in different settings — so every day of your celebration looks distinct in photos and film.
A grand ballroom for the reception. The crystal-ceiling ballroom handles large receptions with proper rigging for stage lighting — which means your Sangeet performances are lit beautifully on film.
Room for the whole family. With 240 rooms on-site, both families stay together for the full three days of celebration.
How Each Ceremony Unfolds at Sheraton Hua Hin
Haldi & Mehndi
Morning Haldi ceremonies work beautifully in the garden areas and poolside pavilions, where soft shade keeps skin tones natural and the turmeric yellows pop against the greenery. Mehndi gatherings flow into the afternoon — we shoot these documentary-style, catching the laughter between cousins and the intricate henna details up close.
Sangeet Night
The Sangeet is where the ballroom shines. Stage lighting, choreographed family performances, lehengas in motion — our two-camera video setup plus a dedicated photographer means no performance goes uncaptured.
Baraat
The Baraat at Sheraton Hua Hin is a highlight every single time. The resort’s long driveway and garden paths give the groom’s procession room to build energy — dhol players, dancing relatives, and the arrival moment where both families meet. We position one videographer inside the procession and one ahead of it, so you get both the energy and the emotion.
The Wedding Ceremony
Whether your Mandap is set on the beachfront lawn or the garden terrace overlooking the sea, morning ceremonies here get gentle, even light — ideal for the pheras and the emotional close-ups that matter most. For Sikh ceremonies, we’ve also covered Anand Karaj setups arranged in the resort’s function spaces.
Reception
Evening receptions in the ballroom close the celebration — grand entrances, first dances, speeches — and afterwards, a short couple session under the resort’s night lighting.
