When Simran and Jasras told us they wanted a pre wedding photoshoot in Bangkok that felt like Europe without ever leaving Thailand, we knew exactly where to take them. Benedict Studio — Bangkok’s beloved castle-style photo studio — set the stage for a session filled with golden candlelight, vintage romance, and plenty of laughter between two people clearly excited for the big day ahead.
Why Benedict Studio Is Bangkok’s Most-Loved Pre-Wedding Location
Tucked away in Bang Kapi, Benedict Studio is a European-inspired photo location built like a real-life castle. Baroque halls, weathered stone corridors, gothic arches and vintage interiors sit side by side, which means one session here can look like it was shot across three different countries. The Golden Hall — Candlelit Baroque Romance
We began in the studio’s famous golden hall, where walls of gilded candelabras and crystal chandeliers glow in every direction. Simran wore a strapless white lace gown that caught the warm light beautifully, while Jasras kept it modern and relaxed in a light grey suit. Between the soft bokeh of a hundred candle bulbs, the two of them barely needed direction — a quiet glance here, a hand held there, and the frames simply happened.
Vintage Corners & the European Courtyard
From the golden hall we moved through the studio’s vintage sitting rooms — antique sofas, soft cream drapery and clean natural light that made for timeless, editorial-style portraits of Simran. Then came our favourite moment of the day: the open-air cloister with its chequered marble floor and gothic columns, where Simran’s tulle skirt swirled as she ran toward Jasras, both of them laughing like nobody was watching. Those in-between, unposed seconds are always the ones couples treasure most.
